Basil Essential Oil

This is a True Sweet Basil Oil (Ocimum Basilicum) which is the safest and most pleasant of the Basil oils used in Aromatherapy. Basil has a stimulating and clearing effect, useful when concentration is needed or when feeling tired and sluggish. It awakens the brain and nervous system; thus, it is great for nervous debility, poor concentration and mental fatigue.

Ingredients

The oil is produced by steam distillation of the leaves and flowering tops.

How to Use

Diffuser: To aid concentration, try adding 1 drop of Basil, 3 drops of Lemon and 1 drop of Peppermint to some water in an oil burner. Massage: A blend of 1 drop each of Basil and Lavender in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil makes a good abdomen massage oil. Always massage the abdomen in a clockwise direction.
