COVID 19 - Important Information about our Treatments

In line with government guidance we are now able to offer a selection of our holistic therapies. We take your safety and that of our team very seriously.  Before attending any treatments please review the following pre treatment questions and guidance.  Should you have any concerns please contact the team for further advice Bramhall 0161 439 9856

You must not attend an appointment if you, or a member of your family or support bubble, has symptoms or COVID-19 or has tested positive for the virus.

Please review the following questions.  If you answer Yes to any of these at anytime prior to your appointment, you should not attend the appointment.  Please call Amaranth on 0161 439 9856 to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  You will not incur a cancellation fee.

 
COVID-19 Pre Appointment Questionnaire


1. Do you currently have, or have you in the last 7 days had any of the following symptoms of COVID
 
 If you answer yes do not attend your treatment
  • A high temperature 
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste 
2. Does anyone in your household or support bubble have COVID-19 or symptoms of COVID-19?  
If you answer yes do not attend your treatment

3.  Are you classed as a vulnerable person (moderate risk)? For a definition please click here 
If you are at moderate risk you may still be able to have your treatment but this must be discussed with your therapist prior to the appointment. You should call the clinic in advance on 0161 439 9856.  You must also seek permission from your GP or midwife prior to your appointment 

4. Are you classed as an extremely vulnerable person (high risk)?
If you have received a letter from your GP or medical specialist explaining that you are required to shield, we recommend that you do not attend the clinic at this time.  Please contact us 0161 439 9856 to discuss this with your therapist.

What to Expect From Your Treatment

We take your safety and the safety of our team very seriously.  We have put measures in place to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.  This means that your treatment experience may be different from that you have experienced with us in the past.

Please be aware :

  • We are no longer able to provide a client waiting area, hot drinks or magazines.  Please arrive just before your treatment time so that we can limit the number of people in the treatment area to maintain social distancing.

  • Please attend your treatment alone.  If this is not possible, please call the clinic 0161 439 9856 (Bramhall) in advance to inform your therapist.
  • Please bring a face covering to your appointment. Your therapist will discuss with you whether this needs to be worn during parts of your treatment. Your therapist will wear PPE during each treatment and consultation.

  • If possible please being your own water to your appointment. Please do not bring any other food or drink to your appointment unless you have a medical reason to do so.  Please inform Amaranth ahead of your appointment if this is the case.

  • On arrival you will be asked to complete a short COVID-19 consultation form. Your therapist will complete a further health questionnaire with you.
  • We are unable to provide blankets for use during your appointment and some additional comfort items such as bolsters may not be available.  Towels will still be used, as always these will be washed and fresh towels used for each client.

  • You will be asked to use hand santiser when entering the premises 

  • We are following strict santisation routines before and after treatments. We confirm that have complied with the government's guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19.  Should you require further details on our procedures please email joanne@amaranth-wellbeing.com.

  • We will take personal contact details on booking your appointment. If requested, we will pass on your details to the Track and Trace System.
