Curcumin is the nutrient that gives turmeric its vibrant golden colour. It is shown to have potent anti-inflammatory properties and is typically used to support muscle and joint health. It is also used to support gastrointestinal function. Studies have shown that curcumin is not generally well absorbed. Natures Plus PRO Curcumin Longvida uses Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle (SLCP) technology to improve absorption with each capsule delivering 500mg of Longvida (extracted from Curcuma longa root).
