Gymnema Sylvestre

Gymnema Sylvestre is an ancient herb used for nearly 2000 years to help manage cravings for sweet foods. Known in Ayurveda as "Gurmar" or "sugar destroyer," this slow-growing, perennial, woody climber plant is found in central and southern India and tropical Africa. It is also believed to inhibit sugar absorption and is a popular subject in Western medicine studies. The effects occur rapidly after ingestion but last only a few hours, so this supplement is designed to be taken up to three times daily for prolonged benefit.
