Nutritional therapy focuses on the use or elimination of particular foods, vitamins, minerals and nutrients in order to improve the health and wellbeing of a patient. The discipline is holistic in that it is designed to treat the body as a whole, tackling the cause, rather than the symptoms, of a problem, an approach which is often overlooked by conventional medicine.
What Happens During a Nutritional Therapy Consultation?
The initial consultation will take 1 hour. During this time your nutritional therapist will discuss with you the health issue you would like to improve and explore what factors may be contributing to your symptoms. You will be asked questions regarding details of any health issues you may have as well as information about your dietary habits and lifestyle.
A personalised action plan is then agreed and is likely to include changes to your current eating habits, nutritional supplement programme, and lifestyle recommendations. Laboratory tests may be recommended, if appropriate (see diagnostic testing)
Consultations can take place at the Amaranth clinic in Bramhall, or via Zoom
Progress will be monitored at monthly follow-up appointments and adjustments to your programme made as necessary.
60 minutes (Initial) £90.00
45 minutes (Follow Up Appointment) £70.00
(This excludes any supplements or additional testing that may be recommended to you)
