Bio.Me Prebio PHGG

Prebio PHGG from Invivo is a colourless, flavourless prebiotic fibre derived from the seeds of the guar plant.  It is used to rebalance the gut microbiome and to promote bacterial diversity, selectively increasing Bifidobacterium and other SCFA producing strains.  This vegan dietary fibre also helps to balance faecal movements, both constipation and diarrhoea, and increase feelings of satiety.  Highly soluble and heat stable, it can mix into any drink, be baked into foods, or added into stovetop meals.  PHGG is well tolerated in individuals with bowel symptoms, including IBS and SIBO.

How to Use

Mix 5g (1 tsp) daily into at least 200ml of water or other beverage. Stir and take on an empty stomach.  For those with a sensitive stomach, start with half a dose and build up gradually. PHGG has been shown to be a safe way to improve regularity for those pregnant and lactating. As with any supplement, however, please consult with your health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
